Scenario
A high school student has just received his
driver’s license. Based on information that he
received while reading a blog, he decides to
place his driver’s license, registration, proof of
insurance, and a flyer that states, “I remain
silent. No searches. I want my lawyer” into a
plastic bag attached to his driver’s side window
as he passes through a DUI checkpoint. Is he
being a responsible citizen? Why or why not?
