2. Erasmus +
Erasmus + is the EU programme in the fields of
education,training,youth and sport for the period 2014-
2020.
Erasmus + is designed to support efforts to efficiently use the
potential of human talent and social capital , while
conforming the principle of lifelong learning.

3. The programme enhances the opportunities for cooperation
and mobility with partner countries,especially in the fields
of higher education and youth.
In order to achieve its objectives,Erasmus+ implements the
following actions:

5. ● KA1 is the learning mobility opportunities for individuals: both
young people and youth workers
● KA2 focuses on strategic partnerships, aiming at innovation
and quality and strengthening cooperation among different
sectors and actors (private, public, non-governmental and
others) in the field of youth work.
● KA3 offers opportunities for young people to influence policy
making and reforms by entering into dialogue with policy
makers

6. ● Strategic Partnerships aim to support the
development,transfer and/or implementation of
innovative practices.
● As well as the implementation of joint initiatives
promoting cooperation,peer learning and exchanges of
experience in European level.

9. What’s Europass?
● Europass is a new initiative which aims to help people make their skills
and qualifications clearly and easily understood in Europe, thus facilitating
the mobility of both learners and workers.
● The Europass documents have been designed in such a way as to help
people chronicle their skills and competences in a coherent manner,
whether they are planning to enroll in an education or training programme,
looking for a job, or getting experience abroad.

10. Europass consists of a portfolio of five documents as follows:
Two documents which individuals can complete independently
Europass Curriculum Vitae (CV)
Europass Language Passport

11. Three documents which are completed by the competent organisation on
behalf of the individual -
● Europass Mobility
● Europass Certificate Supplement
● Europass Diploma Supplement

Europass has a number of benefits associated with it, the principal ones being:
● It will help citizens to convey their qualifications and competences in an
effective way
● It provides a comprehensive tool for users based on an accessible
electronic format
● It enables people with diverse backgrounds and experiences to gain
access to opportunities for learning and employment throughout Europe,
particularly by helping people to move between countries or across
employment sectors
