Tourism is a field where bilateral relations picked up significantly in recent years. 2013 brought a staggering increase in the number of Dutch tourists visiting Hungary. Their main destinations are Budapest and lake Balaton. Music festivals (Sziget, Balaton Sound) play a main role in their destination choices.

•To support the implementation of investment promotion.
•To foster bilateral and multilateral international economic relations.
•To help the foreign enterprises in a one- stop-shop system in preparing and implementing strategic investment decisions, as well as providing support in the period after such decisions are reached.
•Increase and motivate the export of the small and medium sized companies (SMEs).
•Makes use of the reserves of SMEs while helping their expansion on foreign markets.
• Develops export capacity for these companies, while making their foreign markets more organized and effective SMEs will become self-sufficient over time.
