opportunities are set up within the organisation to facilitate effective opportunities for career pathways to develop. The training I have received
within the department at Havering have included on the job training and learning from senior members of the team by shadowing them in their daily

Why The Water Is Important For The Survival Of Everyone
i.Water– Water is of the utmost importance and essential to the survival of everyone. It is the number one priority as one can die after a few days
of not drinking water. I would assign 450 people working in groups of 3 to scout the island for all possible freshwater sources. In each group, there will
be at least one person aged 18+ because they will most likely have the necessary education to better find freshwater sources. The other two people will
be 12–50 as they will have the necessary energy go on the expedition to find the water. If no freshwater sources are found by the first day, I will
devote 750 people to the task of scouting for freshwater sources and 150 people (15+) working in groups of 2 exploring other creative ways to
produce water (distillation, rainwater, groundwater etc.) until we have a stable source of hydration (enough for each person to drink 1.25litres of
water a day). ii. Food– Food is the next basic necessity as it provides essential nutrients for the body to function. It is also important to get a stable food

Member of the Social Services Sector
My overall experience in the Leadership Simulation course was great. The group work and collaboration required in this course was unlike any course
experience I have had in the past. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know and working with the other Social Service Sector members, Karen, Crystal,
Courtney, and Christopher, and I believe that forming a personal and professional relationship with the sector members played a huge role in our
interactions as a sector.
Strengths
A prominent strength of the Social Services sector was our sector structure and organization. Group structure determines the effectives of the group
(Borgatta, Bales, & Couch, 1954) and I believe from the first Collaborate session, the Social Service sector established a structure. This was achieve by
determining several group expectations that all members agreed upon, including scheduled meetings, topics for our Collaborate sessions, methods and

In discussing and exploring whether the recent changes and implementation of the Further Education Sector will actually lead to dramatic
improvements in the teaching of English to second language learners, one must consider a variety of factors. Some of these factors are subjective such

Identify and explain two significant developments resulting from the welfare state.
The NHS came around in July 5, 1948. The Health Minister Aneurin (also known as Nye) Bevan purely nationalised the existing system across the
UK. The groundbreaking change was to make all services freely available to everyone. Half of Scotland's landmass was already covered by a
state–funded health system serving the entire community and directly run from Edinburgh. Additionally, the war years had seen a state–funded hospital
building programme in Scotland on a scale unknown in Europe. This was combined into the new NHS. Scotland also had its own individual medical
tradition, this is centred on its medical schools rather than private practice. The legislation that empowered the UK to have the NHS is National Health
Service Act (1948), this despite opposition from doctors, who maintained on the right to continue treating some patients privately. The NHS ensured
that Doctors, hospital, dentists, opticians, ambulances, midwives and health visitors were available, free to everybody. This Reason why we have
