7. 1. Base Warranty is the service entitlement for space and skill support that comes together by
default when the product is purchased.
2. Under Base Warranty, the Next Business Day (NBD) service response is 9 hours 5 days a week
except the national holidays.
3. Service calls resolution are done on a best effort basis
4. Installation of Hardware by HP is NOT covered under Base Warranty
5. Base Warranty does not cover parts support on accidental damages such as: Drops, Falls,
Collisions, Liquid Spills, LCD Damage, Fire, Electrical Surge, Loss, damage caused by an act of
God or Nature, Data/OS/Application recover etc.
6. Base Warranty includes spare and skill support for the hardware and basic support on
Operating System.

18. Customer Integration Services (CIS)
The services are targeted to maximize customers’ return on new PC investment, make them more
competitive and accelerate business readiness. The offering provides 17 standard and packaged
services predictable in terms of features, price and turnaround time. CIS is divided in 3 services family:
Integration
Customers get complete integration of Hardware, Drivers and Software applications installed within
one customized PC Software image loaded in the factory
Security
Customers can protect their PC assets and company data at the BIOS system level and/or address
physical asset security and tracking from this service.
Deployment
With this service customers receive enablement of remote configuration, installation and distribution
of software packages onto Personal Computing Systems and/or delivery of different schemes to
package, deploy and distribute Personal Computing Systems.
Customized Solution
Customers receive high-level customization to integrate, secure and deploy PC units. Additional
customization on top of standard services through a collaborative project management can be quoted
on case-by-case basis.

20. HP CARE PACK SERVICES TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. The price list is for your reference only. Any quotes to customer/reseller must have prior deal
approval from Bid desk.
2. All ILP quoted is in Indian Rupees. WCT, Service tax or any other taxes are charged extra as
applicable.
3. Please go through warranty/ Care Pack Services definitions and general Terms and Conditions.
4. To determine the right Care Pack Services applicable against a product, Go to www.hp.com/
go/lookuptool select the product type by description or enter in the hardware product number,
the available Care Pack Services options will appear.
5. All Care Pack Service support unless and until specified otherwise is available only in the
country of purchase.
6. Warranty extension of Care Pack Services are to be purchased and registered within first 90
days of product purchase.
7. Desktop/Workstation/Thin Client/RPOS carepacks covers base machine support (excludes
montior) only unless and until specified otherwise.
8. Post Warranty Care Pack Service is to be purchased and registered within 30 days of base
warranty or Care Pack Services expiry.
9. RPOS Care Pack Services: Other than NBD support remaining Care Pack Services are
supportable in Regional HQs – India.

21. HP PSG CARE PACK – SERVICE DEFINITIONS
Next Business Day (NBD) Onsite
Customers receive faster response for hardware repair. An authorized HP services representative arrives at
customers’ site the next business day after the call has been logged to bring back the HP Product to operating
conditions.
Same Business Day
Customers receive faster response for hardware repair. An authorized HP services representative arrives at
customers’ site the next business day after the call has been logged to bring back the HP Product to operating
conditions.
Call to Repair
For failures that cannot be resolved remotely, an authorized HP representative will be dispatched to restore clients’
faltered hardware to operating condition after a call is registered.
Defective Media Retention (DMR)
Customers retain their damaged hard disk and its data and get a new replaced hard disk from HP. Preferred by
customers handling sensitive data to ensure data security and audience to privacy regulations.
Data Recovery Service
It offers technical support to recover data from defective hard disk on best effort basis. The service is available in 8
major metros across India with support on unlimited number of events.
Return to Depot (RTB)
Customers carry-in or ship the hardware to an authorized service center of HP.

22. Accidental Damage Protection (ADP)
Customers get additional protection under accidental damage to the product which is generally not covered under
standard warranty. Coverage includes fire, unintentional liquid spills, product drops, falls, collisions, broken LCDs
