RS-1R Pick and Place Machine
RS-1R, as the new generation of JUKI’s pick and place machine, its base frame has
been redesigned, thus, its mounting speed has been also improved greatly, which is
more faster compared to the RS-1.
The nozzles trackability function：
 For upgrading the trackability and management, JUKI has put RFID tags onto all
the nozzles. Besides, the operator can monitor the maintenance for nozzles
 Large Nozzle ATC
Changeable ATC plate supports nozzles up to 7*28 mm. It is available for heavy
components or large nozzles.
 Broad Range of Component
RS-1R supports components from 0201 (metric) to 74 mm square or 5*150 mm
rectangular parts. The maximum height for component of RS-1R is 25 mm.

Fast Chip Placer
Thanks to the two gantries equipped with 10 spindles per head and a new flying
camera system, the placement performance of the machine is higher. Its placement
speed has increased further to 78,000 CPH that is the highest all over the world
among the same class of pick and place machines. In addition, its component capacity
is from chips of 0402 to maximum 14mm IC. Applied the electrical feeders, the actual

 High Speed LED Production
Maximum placement speed can reach an optimum 95,000 CPH, one of the fastest
LED placement machines among the same class in the world with extremely high
precision and stability.
 Wide Range of LED Components Capacity
Suitable for all types of LED lighting products, not only it can be applied for common
3528, 5050 LED chips 0603, but also compatible with varied types of high-power
components.
 1.5 Meter Length Structure
With a maximum length of 1500mm of board size, it’s applicable for a large board
placement process. Using a solid and stable marble bottom structure, making sure the
machine runs smoothly.

 Up to 12 Mounting Spindles Available
It comes with 8, 10, and 12 spindles that are available for different kinds of
components, which supports customization to reach the optimal actual placement
speed.
 Thanks to the convenient positioning block, use the base plate origin positioning
method to fix the position. The positioning is highly accurate (<0.05mm).
 The mounting angle range reaches 0-360° and precision is 0.1°.
 Each picking nozzle is an independent rotation angle, moreover added 8 cameras
for components recognition.
 Except for mounting the traditional long LED tube light, the machine also enables
to place bulb light, downlight, spotlight, ceiling light, LED fence light, LED
driving power supply, copper wire string, and so on.
 All X, Y, W axis are equipped with imported precision ball bearing screw rods
and guide rails. Z-axis installed 8 sets of the imported motor to drive, it enhanced
the smooth coordination of equipment motion, reduced abnormal noise, greatly
improved the placement accuracy and speed.
