The Lean Green Clean Up Team has completed several initial tasks including meeting with Operation Clean Sweep, developing a lesson plan, and obtaining sponsorship funds. Major obstacles include scheduling issues with the elementary school and delays in clearances. Remaining tasks are to finalize lesson plans, create a float, obtain community partner assistance, assess project impact, host a clean up event, and acquire additional sponsors.
