The Green Pioneers team has been working on several recycling education and awareness projects at Gomes Elementary School. They distributed recycling materials and held an assembly for 4th graders. They faced communication issues with their school liaison but have upcoming tasks like creating t-shirts, collaborating with 3rd Eye Unlimited for a final event, and preparing activities and presentations about recycling. Their final event on November 14th will recognize the winner of a t-shirt design contest and educate students about reducing waste.
