2. Blogger
1. I like the idea of having an online journal that I can update as often as I like
and give as much information as I want to add.
2. I like how you can not only use it as a journal but pictures and videos can be
added as well.
3. I like that music can be added to the blog and that I get to choose what music
plays while people are reading my blog.
3. Facebook
1. I love that I am able to get back in touch with friends from my past. Some of
the people I have come back into contact with, I never thought I would ever
see or talk to again.
2. I love that I can update my status about what my kids are doing in school or
sports or even if they are sick and my family is able to keep up with us as they
want to.
3. I didn’t like the timeline when it first was introduced but now I like it because
I am able to find things better.
4. Twitter
1. I am glad I had an opportunity to learn more about Twitter, my kids are on it
and I was a little lost with the Twitter lingo.
2. I like that it is just status updates, not everything like Facebook, it makes it
easier to read.
3. I like the ReTweet feature, so if you really like a Tweet, you can send it out to
everyone that follows you.
5. LinkedIn
1. It’s not that I don’t like LinkedIn, I just haven’t played around enough with it
but be comfortable with it.
2. I plan on using it once I start sending out my resume, I have heard of it but not
sure how effective it is in helping you find a job.
3. I have an account and I am already in the system. I get requests to connect
with people that I don’t know and it makes me wonder why they are trying to
connect with me.
6. Platform as a Service (PaaS)
1. Very confusing to me.
2. I did research on Amazon EC2 but it was very much over my head, I’m more of
a hands on type learner, so reading about it didn’t make much sense. I think I
need to see it.
3. I understand that they are the service providers for others, and I understand
that the information is stored in the cloud but there is a lot of information
with pricing and how much storage is offered that doesn’t interest me.
7. API
1. It’s important in that it gets me the information I want, and I have great
respect for people who can do this type of work but I am a people person, not a
computer person.
2. It’s too much information for me.
3. As long as I get the information I am looking for when I search for it, I’m not
interested in the details.
