Tell me about yourself
Please write a letter addressed to me, which covers the following:
1. Who you are as a person (describe yourself)
2. What you have experienced so far in life
3. What you want to experience (your goals—long term and short term)
4. What you like to do with your free time
5. What you like and dislike about school
6. What qualities a good teacher possesses
7. Anything else you would like me to know about you (the way you learn best… what makes you
unique… any questions you have for me…)
This letter should be at least one page. This is not an essay and you will not be graded on writing like
you normally would. Your grade will be based on effort and your ability to meet the criteria I’ve listed
above. This will be a homework grade; if you meet all criteria sufficiently you will receive a 30/30. I
simply want to learn about you.
**You may hand-write this assignment. If you choose to type, all typed assignments will be written in
Times New Roman, 12 point font, 1.5 or 2.0 spaced**
