establishwhatkindof environmentthe childrenlive in.
There will thenbe afocus onwhere the childrenare sleepinginthissecludedareasothe audience
will questionwhere theirmotheris.There will alsobe close upsof the brokenglassonthe floorand
the differentdirtyobjectsthere.The siblingswillfillthe frame sothe audience know they’re the
maincharacter and there will be extreme close upsof theirface tooshow theiremotionsandhow
sad and distressedtheyare.
The siblingswill hearstrange noisescomingtowardsthemasthey’re satthere andthere will be a
focuson theirmouthand chestto showhow heavythey’re breathing.Inbetweentheseshotsthere
will be a trackingshotof someone’slegswalkingtowardsthemwhichwill create tensionforthe
audience because theywon’tbe able tosee theirface.Whenthe personturnsthe cornerthe
camera will focusbackon the kid’sface whowill be frightenedbythisperson,thenthe openingwill
endthere.
