The Problems with Multi-Tiered Architectures
Multi-tiered architectures began to replace the client/server model almost 20 years ago and
enterprises have reaped the rewards since, including better accessibility to applications and data,
unlimited scalability, access to cheaper hardware and easier software deployment.
However, building applications using these architectures is complicated and expensive. All
developers must wrestle with three common problems:

Meet the Co-Founders
Headquartered in Sydney, Australia, Munbo was founded in 2010 and has been developing the
platform for the past seven years. Don’t let its start-up status fool you. Co-founders Angelo Doukas
and Stephen Gregan each have decades of experience building large-scale applications for
enterprises around the world.
Angelo has developed several award-winning applications and was a major shareholder in a publicly-
listed IT company that was acquired by Australia’s largest telco in 2004. His large-scale application
experience includes developing for organizations across the manufacturing, distribution, and finance
sectors.

2. Stephen has built business applications for multi-national companies including Mars, Coca-Cola and
National Foods. His large-scale application experience includes working with companies in the data
warehousing, manufacturing, logistics and finance industries. He has unique, career-long experience
in building tools for developers.
