Key responsibilities include working closely with other teams to define requirements, prolific creation of robust code, and demonstrating best practices in testing, version control, and agile development processes. The ideal candidate has over 4 years of experience as a lead front-end developer with expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, modern frameworks like Angular and Backbone, as well as REST, JSON, databases and Linux.

Our client is a revolutionary technology start-up, in central, London. They are transforming
professional healthcare training through new intuative software products, delivering a unique
connected platform linking mobile apps with a powerful data back-end.
The Opportunity:
Our client have existing iOS and Android apps that have got rave reviews from healthcare
institutions and media. The platform is already generating substantial revenues. They are
now looking to build on this success through a rapid acceleration of product development
and expansion of the London development team. They have a unique product and are
poised to take a world-leading position in a largely untapped market.
The Job
The mobile apps are used by 1000’s of Healthcare professionals daily. The apps generate
analytics that feed into a powerful Dashboard product. The Dashboard needs to deliver a
market-leading experience in terms of state-of-the-art responsive web UX / UI, rapidly-
expanding feature set, high availability and high scalability.
The Lead Front-end Developer role has the following responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the UX / UI of the Dashboard product
- Working closely with Product, Design and Engineering teams to define requirements
- Prolific creation of robust and highly maintainable code
- Demonstrating best practice in use of testing, version control, and SCRUM mechanics
- Reporting to the Lead Dashboard developer
Required skills and experience:
- 4 years’ experience as lead front-end developer
- Expert in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
- Expert in modern front-end frameworks (e.g. Backbone, Angular)
- Strong knowledge of REST, JSON, XML
- Strong knowledge of databases including SQL and NoSQL variants
- Good working knowledge of Linux
