- The largest number of responses was between 1&5 while more than 20 was at 21%
- Contractor was either a recruitment agency or an agency company similar to Sabre
- Overall agreement that 2014 was more challenging
- Majority agree on yes
- Where a majority of responses were neutral, 35% vs 6% are more likely to change
- We were surprised that 21% said yes although the major response was no
- Another indication of a shrinking talent pool is the 41% that are using recruiters to source employees
- 53 % do not utilize and another 28% say its average
- Speaks for itself
- Good number of companies continue to utilize job boards with a majority reporting average to abovre
- Majority do not advertise in newspapers, a huge switch over the years
- This is where it should be, with the majority utilizing the hiring from within
- This was a surprise, considering the previously collected data on internal promotion
- In house training and Continuing education topped the list. This shows that employers are willing to spend a little extra to train and develop their own talent, in keeping with the desire to hire and promote from within
