Analyze Learners: The class is a group of junior and seniors in high school. There is 8 males and
15 females. Learning styles can vary from all ends of the spectrum.
State Objectives:The class will take what they learned throughout the week and learn the proper
techniques on how to do Lewis Dot Structures and also get on the computers and create 3D
models of the compounds. They will do this by using multiply programs (either eMolecule
online or download a program to do it). We will take most of the day making LDS and turning
them into 3D structures. By the end of the day I will be able to give my students any type of
bond and they will tell me what type of bond it is, how many valence electrons each elements
has, and create the LDS and 3D structure for everyone. My students will do this by the end of the
day with a 95%accuruacy.
Select Methods: We will start off going over Lewis Dot Structures because of the importance.
After a little bit of doing LDS for so long we will than start turning them into 3D structures.
Than we will through the whole week together telling what each bond is, how many valence
electrons it has, and drawing out the LDS and 3D structures.

Utilize Media: When I got to school I will make sure all the equipment in the class is working
correctly such as the computers and my projector. I will than make sure I have multiple
problems for us to work out. Than I will make sure the programs are downloaded onto the
computer or I have eMolecule pulled up.
Require Learner Participation: Everyone will be working together in the class helping each
other with the LDS and 3D structures. At the end I will have them tweet how the week was and
how it could be improved.
Evaluate and Revise: At the end I will see what they thought of the whole week and how I could
make it better for future classes.
