1. When I graduate mile’s I don’t know where I will be employed, but I will say it’s a strong
possibility that I will become a teacher for Lawson State GED adult education. My goals for the
students learning forty class hours students attend the college they get to retake the TABE
Test.The TABE Test acknowledge and shows students what they mastered and what areas they
need to improve in. So, as an instructor I will know if they are improving or decreasing in
knowledge obtained. Enactment of goals (teaching methods) I will come up with several
different strategies I was a student at Lawson State in the GED program so, I understand what’s
expected to reach the students .As of now I’m instructional support for the GED program.
Sometimes students express their concerns about the learner strategies in the classrooms. A lot
has changed since I obtained my GED. It’s no more paper GED test everything is on the
computer and most students work from a program called workkeys. I can’t tell another teacher
how to manage their class, but my teachers reached me because it was more going to the board ,
writing essays, vocabulary assignments , math blenders etc. In my class at Lawson State I plan to
bring a lot of the older ways of teaching back including working on the computers students need
both ways if they are going to succeed .How can I as a teacher measure students learning ?
Beside TABE Test that's given every forty class hour period . I will give the homework and
classwork- assignments to evaluate what all they are obtaining . My goal for all the students is
every time they retake the TABE they master areas they didn’t master before .Creating an
inclusive learning environment is a school or classroom where students of every ability level
receive teaching in the same place . This means that particularly able students learn a long side
those who have special needs. In the learning environment when race and gender is a concern . I
will tell them some students or majority maybe African American . Some maybe caucasian or
latino etc. We may have different backgrounds or color of skin, but God view us all the same.
Diverse learning show no favoritism with students help and be available for each student in the
same way. Find out what are their interests and concerns . Also, incorporate interactive activities
to learn more about the student and discover what they are comfortable with . How do you
integrate diverse perspectives into your teaching? Celebrate diversity and include diverse
learning materials and also let students shared unique perspectives ,Structure , rhetoric and
language . Structure it just depends on the class and involvement. The rhetoric have several
different compartments to it just depends on what subject of study is being viewed . Language in
the content is very important subject verb agreement, and complete sentences.
