To prioritize the nursing actions, I will categorize them based on their triage category. A nurse leader’s role is to ensure that the hospital personnel are informed about the emergency and the healthcare organization is well equipped to handle it. Nursing in emergency disaster planning and response covers the structural measures and healthcare service delivery that help to save patients’ lives during adversity.
