1. The Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic, CENIA and EFITA would like to invite you for the <br />Galileo and other Space Initiatives for Agriculture<br />which is organised within the frame of EFITA/WCCA 2011 (see www.efita2011.cz).<br />Workshop is organised by EFITA under auspices of the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic and CENIA.<br /> <br />Contact person: Karel Charvat, charvat(at)ccss.cz<br />Date: Tuesday 12th July 2011<br />Place: Czech University of Life Sciences Prague classroom E155Kamýcká 129 165 21 Prague 6 – SuchdolCzech Republic<br />Fee: Workshop is opened for public and participation is free of charge, due to limited capacity of the workshop, pre-registration is recommended on email workshop(at)ccss.cz<br />GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) that is currently being built by the European Union is opportunity for agriculture sector. It will bring higher accuracy into positioning systems used in precision farming. <br />GMES (Global Monitoring for Environment and Security) is the European Programme for the establishment of a European capacity for Earth Observation.<br />The Global Earth Observation System of Systems will provide decision-support tools to a wide variety of users.
