The Apollo 324 system is a benchtop instrument that automates tedious library preparation steps for next-generation sequencing in as little as one hour. It uses a robotic arm with an eight-nozzle pipette head to integrate and automate all library preparation steps from nucleic acid sample to final library. Users simply set up reagents according to on-screen instructions, press run, and the Apollo 324 handles the rest of the library preparation process. The system can prepare libraries for all major NGS platforms, including Illumina, Ion Torrent, and Roche 454, using validated PrepX library kits to provide consistent results.
