10. PD Topic
Chosen topic: iPads and Apps in the
Classroom
Delivery: Flipped PD (Video tutorial with follow-
up session)
Reason: After reviewing the needs assessment
survey, I have reviewed that the
majority of teachers that completed
the survey (60%) are interested in
learning about iPads and Apps in the
Classroom. Ipads are currently not a
technology tool available for use in
classrooms; however, few teachers use
their own personal iPads in the
classroom. Other teachers have spoken
about writing grants for iPads to use in
the classroom in the near future.

Yes that will be fine Katie. Just let me know if there is anything else you need for
your class.

Subject: PD Video Tutorial
Dr. Lorraine,
For my class, I need to conduct technology PD. I plan on doing a video tutorial with a
follow-up session. The PD will focus on iPads and apps in the classroom. Do I have
permission to do this? What PD date can I do the follow-up session?
Thanks in Advance,
Katie
I will be conducting my follow-up PD session on August 7, 2014 during
our PD day at school.
