1) How do the contemporary media represent nations, regions and ethnic /
social / collective groups of people in different ways?

periods?

In your essay you will need to discuss one historical representation, and at least
one contemporary representation of young people. You must refer to at least
two media in your answer, and relate your discussion to a range of relevant
theorists.
In the boxes below identify the texts you are going to be focusing on in your
essay, the key points you intend to make about how they represent young people
(and how this relates to your argument), and which theorists you would apply.
