Question 2: how does your media product
represent particular social groups?
Our media intro is represented by the three social groups that are almost
opposite to the normal stereotypes than they would usually be represented
by, these groups are:
1. Teenagers- this is because in our intro we see that teenagers are good at
reacting to bad situations. Such as our actress Orva reacting confidently to her
situation apart from being stereotyped as being a defeatist and lazy.
2. Females- in our intro you can see Orva being brave and strong opposing from
the stereotype of being scared and weak.
3. Males- in our intro you can see that our male actor Jad is the one that is going
to be classed as the strong and braver one out of the two even though we
cannot see his face, we still judge him as being the strongest.
