4. ABOUT PROJECT
• Indian Railway Consumes Approximately 205 Billion Units of
electricity for non-track usage, spending about INR 1,700 crores
per annum.
• So, our main concept is to reduce power consumption of the
railway station.
• my projects detect motion using infra red motion sensor.
• After detect some kind of motion like Human or train etc.. It will
automatically turn on the light of that sector of a railway station.
• After 5 minutes light goes off automatically.
• The Single SSB (Smart Switching Board ) can control 13
equipment At a time like fan, Light banner, clock, holdings etc..
• This SSB (Smart Switching Board ) also use in stairs, Outer side
of the platform and Parking Area for automatic switching on/off
lights.
5. WHY THIS SMART SWITCHING BOARD IS
DIFFERENT FROM OTHER BORDS
• So generally, if you want to purchase any wi-fi ,Bluetooth,
IR remote, motion detection operated switching board..
You must purchase it individually.
• Because there is no such board in the market which has all
these features together.
• This project is not only use for railway station.
• We can also use it at hospital, metro station ,bus station
and all the government offices Etc.

6. • This is the main circuit of our Smart Switching
Board.
• This circuit includes two Arduino Nano and
node MCU.
• Arduino Nano is a Micro Controller That
process all the Signals from sensors and send
the command to the Relay Section to control
the Applications.
• Node MCU (Esp 8266) is a Wi-Fi Board that
Connect with Wi-Fi and send the signals (like
Any Sensor) to the Controller.
• We are using two Arduino nano. Each
Arduino Nano has 13 Digital Pins; So we Get
26 Digital pins. So that we can operates 20
different Applications. (Some Pins Are
connected With Sensors)

9. PROCESSOR / MOTHER BOARD
• Here it is the main Brain of our device/system.
• This is the ATMEGA328 Micro Controller.
• It has 6 analog pins to take input from the sensors
and 13 digital output for control the equipment.
• This Controller works on 5 to 15 V Dc.
10. SWITCHING SECTION
• This is our main switching section where our
components/equipment will Turn on & off
using this Relay System.
• The relay is operated by the concept of electro
magnetic effect
• Relay is the system which can turn on & off
the component using input Signal.
• The upper system is group of 16 individual
relays so it can control 16 different equipment.
• This switching Section take the input signals
from the micro controller.
11. INPUT/DETECTION SECTION
• This is our main IR Motion Detection sensor which detect motion
near by 30 Feet to 200 Feet (as requirement) of the Platform.
• This sensor Using Infra Red Waves to Detect the motion.
• Basically, this sensor Detect The heat from the moving object
and transmit the signal to Processor/controller.
