- 9. Upload to a Podcast Hosting Service You may use a free or paid hosting service of your choice.
- 10. Creating Podcasts Record audio using Audacity (Windows) or GarageBand (Apple) Share audio to iTunes and create new MP3 Version Tag MP3 Upload MP3 to a podcast hosting service
- 11. Reflection Please take three minutes to think about creative ways to integrate podcasts into the classroom.

- Podcasts are digital audio file made available on the Internet for downloading to a computer or portable media player You do not need an iPod to listen to a podcast Podcasts can be created using Windows or Apple software
- Show short video clip to participants.
- You may also choose another audio recording program of your choice.
- Right click audio file and select “Create New MP3 Version”
- Use relevant tags so that your podcasts can be found in a search.

- Ask Participants if they have ever used podcasts at home or in the classroom. Discuss experiences. Ask Participants if they have ever created their own podcasts. Discuss experiences.
- Ask each participant to briefly share their thoughts.
- Provide participants with the link to “How to Create a Podcast” ebook for participating.
