2. About Gaby Burwell
Gaby Burwell is an enslaved african
american. Supposingly his death age
was about 40 years old when he
disappeared in september 14, 1768. His
birth date is also unknown and so is
his date of death. His master was
named James Burwell, and his wife
was an enslaved as well. Her name is
unknown.

3. Gaby’s Daily Job
Gaby Burwell worked in
the fields each day. But
most of his work was to
help out his master, James
Burwell. He only helped his
master make crops and
working in the fields.

4. His family life
Gaby has a wife that is an enslaved
woman. If you are asking, “
Does he have any children? “, well
sorry to say this but his children
are unknown and so are there
names. But this still proves that he
may or may not have any children,
at all.

5. Gabby´s wife
Gabby Burwell had a wife that
was an enslaved woman. Her
name is unknown but she lived
with a man named Mr. Robert
Nicholson in williamsburg. He
even ran away from james
just to see her :) That is when
James Burwell, made a search
for him and offered a reward
of TEN POUNDS! :0 (happened

My opinion is that Gaby Burwell is a
patriot because all he wanted to do
was to go to his wife and care for her.
That is why he escaped in the first
place. But it wasn't the first time he
had tried to escape :( and because of
slaves running away to see their
families, James suspected that he ran
off to his wife :)
