In this lesson we discuss deception and how the devil attempts to deceive you and I.  In this lesson we define how the Bible uses the word deceive, how not to be deceived and show a Biblical example of a leader of Israel being deceived.  The goal is to be able to better recognize the trickery of the devil and avoid it. www.cmcoc.org for slides and audio together.

‣To offer a challenge.

3. Define deception
‣ Deceived (Gk. Planao) to cause to stray, to lead
astray, lead aside from the right way.
‣ The intentional misleading or tricking a person
typically in order to gain some personal advantage.
‣ The act of causing someone to accept as true or
valid what is false or invalid.
‣ Tricking someone, fraud, ruse, hoax, wile,
imposture.

7. Don’t be Deceived
