5. THE DEVIL’S TARGET
(1 Pet 5:6 KJV)
Humble
yourselves
therefore under the
mighty hand of
God, that he may
exalt you in due
time:
(Heb 13:17 KJV) Obey them that have the rule
over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch
for your souls, as they that must give account, that
they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for
that is unprofitable for you.

No longer accepts correction
Finds own way of serving and gets bored why he is serving God

Are you more faithful , obedient and fruitful than the
other person you judge? If not, you are self-righteous,
and have a beam in your eye & while you point one
finger to another, 3 of your fingers are pointing on you!!!

10. The foundation of the Christian is so important
for his growth and maturity
Such attitude will bring influence on others and his
growth will be affected so that he will not grow
(1 Cor 3:10 KJV) According to the
grace of God which is given unto
me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have
laid the foundation, and another
buildeth thereon. But let every man
take heed how he buildeth
thereupon.
The baby christian can easily be influence either by good or bad
(Heb 12:15 KJV) Looking
diligently lest any man fail of the
grace of God; lest any root of
bitterness springing up trouble you,
and thereby many be defiled;
If he becomes unsubmissive and critical at an early stage,
that shows he is always a murmuring and complaining
Christian and does not have the joy of serving.
(Phil 2:14 KJV) Do all things
without murmurings and
disputings:

who did hinder you that ye should
not obey the truth?
(Gal 5:8 KJV) This persuasion
cometh not of him that calleth you.

13. CARNALITY BRINGS
DIVISIONS
I Cor. 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you
as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto
babes in Christ.
2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for
hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet
now are ye able.
3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among
you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not
carnal, and walk as men?

Classmates
Fellow Christian
Friend
Even the one seating
beside you.

trust in the LORD than to
put confidence in man
THE DEVIL WILL TEMPT YOU WHEN
YOU ARE DOWN OR DISCOURAGED
AND YOU WILL TEND TO RELY ON
YOURSELF OR ON MAN
/BUT YOU MUST RELY
ON GOD AND SUBMIT
TO HIM

yourselves therefore to God.

15. You can be religious but not
spiritual Chrisitan
If Christ lives in your heart and he
is in the center of your life, then you
will live according to his purpose
(Luke 19:10 KJV) For the Son of
man is come to seek and to save
that which was lost.
Discipleship is not intended for us to
focus on our needs and problems
Rather it is to focus on Jesus as the
solution to our problem, to be submissive
to learn and to reach out to others
13 And he goeth up into a

they should be with him, and
that he might send them forth to

16. THE DEVIL IS WORKING
HARD TO MAKE YOU HIS
VICTIM.
(1 Pet 5:8 KJV) Be sober, be vigilant; because

doctrine.

20. Envy and Strife
James 3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife
in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the
truth. 15 This wisdom descendeth not from above,
but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where
envying and strife is, there is confusion and every
evil work.

21. (1 Sam 15:23 KJV) For rebellion is as
the sin of witchcraft, and
stubbornness is as iniquity and
idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the
word of the LORD, he hath also
rejected thee from being king.

22. Would you submit to God
only in good times?
Do you have the humility to
acknowledge that God’s word is
right than what you think?
Do you want to follow
God’s word than what
you feel?

good man are ordered by the
LORD: and he delighteth in his
way.
(Psa 100:2 KJV) Serve the
LORD with gladness: come
before his presence with singing.
