The Information Technology Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional internal
guest service while completing a variety of helpdesk and desktop support activities for the
Buffalo Wild Wings, Inc corporate headquarters, and for corporate owned restaurants.

Education / Training / Experience:
Associate degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent training is required.
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience in computer (desktop)
support, and have a proven dedication to customer service, as well as a passion for technology.

Requirements:

    •   Ability to quickly and effectively learn and adapt to new technologies.
    •   High Proficiency with Windows XP - Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2003-2010 in an
        Enterprise environment.
    •   Proficiency with Mac OS X
    •   User Administration in Active Directory
    •   Knowledge of mobile device operating systems (BlackBerry Server, iPhone, Android,
        Active Sync etc.).
    •   A general understanding of basic LAN, connectivity, router administration and network
        administration.
    •   Demonstrated skills in providing technical support to users of company personal
        computers either on-site or remotely.
    •   Demonstrated ability to successfully work on multiple, complex tasks and projects in a
        fast-paced environment.
    •   Demonstrated strong and effective Customer focus and desk-side support skills.
    •   Experience creating process documentation a plus.
    •   Prior experience in a multi-site restaurant or retail environment a plus.
    •   Must possess clear written and verbal communications


Responsibilities Include:

    •   Respond to telephone calls, emails and help desk tickets for technical support.
    •   Monitor help desk software and perform appropriate resolution activities in a timely
        manner, proportional to the degree of difficulty or amount of research necessary for the
        solution.
    •   Identify, research, and resolve technical problems.
    •   Work with users to provide effective and reliable computing systems.

   •   Maintain database of serial numbers and other characteristics for company-owned laptop
       and desktop equipment in near-real-time so that at any point the location of each asset is
       known.
   •   Perform software installations and computer imaging on new and replacement computers.
   •   Perform difficult break-fix service for computers and peripherals as well as problems
       involving application software. May refer very complex repair situations to level 3
       support and may work with other Information Technology associates on larger more
       complex projects.
   •   May develop and maintain high quality software images for laptop and desktop systems.
   •   May determine optimum hardware for desktop and laptop images.
   •   Develop and perform system configuration and repair procedures.
   •   Provide support for all user IT related issues. Work with available resources to provide
       effective solutions and problem resolution.
   •   Provide computer hardware ready for use to associates and field users by responding to
       requests from Human Resources and other notifications.
   •   Perform routine assignments without supervision. Supervisor is notified of exceptional
       conditions or unusual situations.
   •   Assist with implementation of new technologies.
   •   Assist in the operation of Information Technology department as required.
   •   Keep abreast of technology advances, trends, hardware and software products relative to
       customer support services
