The document discusses the technology used to create advertising films. Portable digital cameras were used to film each sequence, while iMacs and iMovie software allowed the footage to be edited into finished adverts. Storyboards guided the filming process. An MP3 player and iPod provided background music. Laptops were used for writing evaluations and saving documents. Without this technology, the adverts, research, and evaluations could not have been completed.
2. When preparing for our adverts and when filming we
used many technology based things such as; portable
cameras, which was the most important one as we
filmed each sequence with this. They were easy to
use, and did the job well; we were able to use it for
every advert without a problem. The only problem
with these digital cameras is that they wouldn’t be as
clear and advanced as professional cameras;
sometimes the film would appear unclear
3. The other main sources of technology we used were
the iMacs and iMovie. These were also important
during the build-up of work as it allowed us to edit our
adverts when we needed too. This was important as it
basically finalised each advert, without these each
advert would not have been completed. We had also
created storyboards to act as a guideline for when
creating our adverts, we took pictures for this.
4. We had also used an MP3 music device and iPod, to
import onto the iMac which was used as background
music for our adverts. Finally we had the advantage
of using our own laptops, to write up our evaluations
and save any work on documents. Without these
technological uses, we would not have been able to
create our adverts, carry out research or produce
evaluations.
