1. 1- Rule of thirds
Is when the picture is divided equally by two horizontal lines and two
vertical lines, to achieve the rule of thirds you must place the main
subject ( singer) along these line or where they meet.
Doing this it will balance your photo making it more interesting.
And is also used to balance the copy.

2. 2-Leading line
When there is a line that naturally drags your eye towards the end, where it led.

3. 3- Framing
You can fame the picture with props other models or the scenery. This will make
your focus to the center. Usually in magazines the cover lines and masthead frame
the picture. Another technique used by magazines is the background where
surround is dark and near the model is lighter.

4. 4- Angle
A different angles from the eye level angle will give a new perspective to the image.
You can make a subject seem more powerful by shooting from a lower angle
up to the subject.

5. 5-Colours
Complementary colours can be used when deciding clothes, makeup and
background suiting their hair colour, skin colour and eye colour. To make
the singer stand out. You can also use contrasting colours (colours
opposite each other on the colour wheel) but that can take the attention
from the singer if not careful.

6. 6- For the photograph to look professional you need a good camera,
good natural light is also very important for a good photograph.
Here are two photos, one of them I took with a phone (bad quality camera) and the
other photo was taken with a digital camera9 good quality camera).

7. 7-Think it through
Give small meanings that can affect peoples opinion on the singer.
Showing the Tattoo- In the past tattoos were linked to criminals, depravity, And immoral behavior. But today the tattoo is
worn by celebrities, athletes, politicians and business people. It’s a piece of decoration in high fashion magazines.
And throughout the years tattoos have symbolized rebellion.
Lipstick and meanings-
Brown/taupe shades- suggests you are an elderly, natural
and dependable individual.
Peach shades- The Sun, fun and cheerful.
Pink shades- love but not red love it has a little edge of
spunkiness giving the suggestion of young.
Red lipstick- sexy, confident, love and mature.

8. Hand- Painted nails helps distinguished female bodies from
male bodies giving more femininity to the singer. Well
manicured hands are a symbol of social class, hygiene
and health.
Show history- Johnny Depp image is shown with jewellery, tattoos,
blowzy hair and dark clothes layers as each item can reflect his past
and which fans can easily interpretate.
His film characters are reflected in his style. The jewellery was used
a lot in the film Chocolat by his character Roux a traveler who wears
loose close, long hair and seen as a relaxed individual. Jack Sparrow
is an character from Pirates of the Caribbean who uses many dark
clothes and layers.
