Justin Ayars, JD, served as President of the
university’s Phi Delta Phi chapter. Justin Ayars
appreciates the international legal fraternity’s
longevity and commitment to academic excellence.
Founded in 1869 by four law students from the
University of Michigan School of Law, Phi Delta Phi
has been in existence for longer than the American
Bar Association. Membership in Phi Delta Phi has
become a distinct honor for law students who have
proven academic achievement, integrity, service, and
excellent citizenship.
3. Many American Presidents, Supreme Court
Justices, and important members of the
American Bar Association have been Phi Delta
Phi members. They include Robert F.
Kennedy, Sandra Day O’Connor, Dan Quayle,
Franklin D. Roosevelt, Pamela Carter, and
William H. Taft, to name a few. Throughout
its history, the fraternity has initiated more
than 200,000 members.
