1. In the first version (draft) a fade in-and-out transition was used at 0:42.
Ambient sound starts off at low volume, which makes it difficult to hear and it instantly
stops at 0:44, which doesn’t go smoothly with the scene. At 0:52, the time-lapse music
starts/begins and the music for the time-lapse finishes at 1:11. However the victim walks
really fast due to the time-lapse speed being edited to going really fast/quickly.
First Version (Draft product)
Second Version (Final Product)
However, in the second version (final product) there isn’t any transition, and the
volume fades in but at a volume that is easy to hear and continues to play till 0:43,
smoothly fading out and not instantly stopping like in the first version (draft)
At 0:49 the time-lapse begins and at 0:57, we see the girl (victim) but this time it was
edited to a slower pace in order for us to see the girl walking up to Sainsbury's. In
addition, at 1:01 the music fades out, so that it goes into a smooth transition to the
next scene.
