I have a client in the western suburbs of Chicago looking for an AR Manager. Requirements attached.

1. TITLE: Manager Accounts Receivable
DEPARTMENT: Finance
REPORTING TO: Vice President of Operations
DIRECT REPORTS: Sr. Collections Specialist, Collections Specialist,
Cash Receipts Clerk
Job Function: Responsible for overall management of Accounts Receivable department.
Key Objectives:
• Direct and coach staff in collections process
• Analyzing and report on key A/R metrics weekly
• Enhance, administer and enforce credit and collections policies and procedures
• Manage and improve AR aging report
• Manage P&L Bad Debt Exposure report on weekly
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage third party collection agency relationship, reduce YTD collections fees
• Ability to interact with people across all functions
• Supervisory experience a must
• Familiarity with A/R ratios and metrics
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA) Needed:
• Collections experience a must
• System implementation
• Windows desktop applications
Education/Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• 5+ yrs experience in credit and collections field
