No Light Without, the Dark of Night
The Ancient Egyptian religion system has probably had the biggest impact on
the subject of life and death as Egyptians once ruled a vast empire with a
Pharaoh who was considereda reincarnate of god or that of a past ruler. The
Egyptians can be regarded similarly in many respects to the other ancient
empires that ruled, as past empires have shaped current beliefs and ideas. The
practice isn’t still followed in Egypt but the idea of burying a Pharaoh that has
died with vast amounts of wealth, and still alive wives would be consider crazy
by all means today. With that said, there have been many kingdoms that have
built our current belief system and what it comes down to is what a person is
able to make small minded people believe in to give hope in life and thereafter.
1. Life
The Time that is lost always reappears; memories that are forgotten
resurface to give each and every person a glimpse of their fondest yesterday.
For many old worldreligion’s like Buddhism, life is but a stage which a spirit
passes from and no stage is permanent. The stage or place a spirit finds its self
Cooper. 2
can be referred back to its past actions in the world a spirit was part of before
it came into being. So under Buddhism everything is reborn into a deserving
form and nothing is permanent every spirit will followits cycle of life. The
traditions are still followed in today’s world of Buddhism, but as the world
changes so does the people. As time unfolds we humans find new ways to make
life better for ourselves as a little more than one hundred years ago we
invented the automobile whichis now a part of every person’s life on this planet.
The items we invent to make our lives better are beyond counting, every minute
of the day something new is invented which will somehow impact the world and
how people come to view it which will have a impact on how we live our lives.
2. Death
“As if I was a teen yesterday, today I find myself grown, time since
disappeared, memories long past faded, still I lay tomorrow”. Death is a fear, a
fear of the unknown and rightfully so; I am fearful of this unknown myself.
Every civilization has its own outlook on a life or death aspect and how they
intertwine there in, everyone views what happens after life differently. Take
for example the suicide bombers of the Middle East, grown people brainwashing
little kids from the set of the womb to wrap themselves with explosives and kill

themselves and many other people. These people promote the notion that if you
die killing others some god will welcome you into his arms reward you with one
hundred women which is a farce of the truth. For a mind that is free in life will
find freedom in death. Other groups see death as a point to celebrate and that
of rebirth. As the thought goes, it can’t always be like it was yesterday but, it
can come back later down the road with its rebirth. There are vast amounts of
ideas and thoughts on the subject of death. I wouldlike to leave off with this.
“There are many dangers of urban life but, up until now, getting executed
for cell phone use was not one of them. This tragic event took place in North
Korea where authorities captured, tortured and then executed a man for the
use of his cell phone”. Shinigami. Weird Asian news.
In closure,No one group of religion is right and no one group is wrong, all
groups have validity when it comes to something you have to trust in like a
religious matter. For millennium kings used and were used by religious leaders
for glory, their banners called people by the hundreds in what we call holy wars,
but as the modern generationgoes people have come to see it as senseless
killing. Religion has long had its hand on matters of both life and death.
Cooper. 4
Whether it is technology or religion, whatever the case may be the matters of
life and death are caused by people. The things we do, the things we say, the
things we create or the ideas we have, destroy and create the world.
