                                             METHODOLOGY

This chapter deals with the discussion of research design, subject of the study,

research instrument, data gathering procedure, and the statistical treatment of the data

used.

   I. Research Design

The researcher made use of the descriptive-analytic survey method.

Pertinent data were gathered through the use of a validated questioner for the

evaluation of the trust, perception, and knowledge of second year BSIT

Students in University of Mindanao in Pres. Aquino III’s administration. The

percentage of the trust, perception, and knowledge of the respondents was

computed to be able to answer the research problem.

   II. Research Subject

The subjects of this research study were the second year BSIT students

of University of Mindanao. The respondent represent 10% of the total five

hundred (500) second year BSIT student for the school year 2011-2011, first

                semester.
III. Research Instrument

This research study is conducted through survey. The researcher made a

survey questioner which aims to gather data and evaluate the trust,

knowledge, and perception of second year BSIT students of the University of

Mindanao in Pres. Aquino III’s administration.

Aside from the survey, the researchers consulted various publications in

the library. The researchers had also gathered information through internet

          and the Phil. Constitution.

IV. Statistical Treatment

Since this is only a term paper and not required for fulfillment of degree

such as theses and dissertation, needless to use complex statistical treatment.

In fact, tallying and getting the percentage is enough to present numerical

          data.
