2. A president is not judged by what the contemporary people perceives about this
personality and performance for the moment but by what history and future generation (not
survey ) would hold him on the basis of his heart, strength, wisdom, and virtue to bravely and
decisively cross every Jordan River along the way towards “ daang matuwid”

• Scarcity – enlackment
Operational:
• Political Discourse – is the discussion of public matters involving community as the
heart of planning.
• Public Interest – is the major need of the public.
• Public issue – matters regarding political concern.
• Democracy – the state of being free. Thus , in this research , it is used as the freedom
of public for expression.
3. • Public Trust – the average or general trust the society to a certain authority.
• Political Opinion – the freedom to speak regardless of facts and support; own political
view.
• Public Service – the essence of government.
4. VII. Theoretical Framework / Conceptual Framework
The respondents were asked with three categories: their trust, knowledge, and
perception in Pres. Aquino III’s administration.
For Knowledge, the respondents will answer or rate 5-for Very well, 4 – Well, 3- Just
enough, 2 – Little, 1 – nothing.
For Perception, the respondents will answer or rate 5- Very Agree, 4 – Agree, 3-
Average, 2- Disagree, 1- Strongly Disagree.
For Trust, , the respondents will answer or rate 5- Very Satisfied , 4 – Somewhat
Satisfied, 3- Average, 2- Dissatisfied, 1- Very Dissatisfied.

METHODOLOGY
This chapter deals with the discussion of research design, subject of the study,
research instrument, data gathering procedure, and the statistical treatment of the data
used.
I. Research Design
The researcher made use of the descriptive-analytic survey method.
Pertinent data were gathered through the use of a validated questioner for the
evaluation of the trust, perception, and knowledge of second year BSIT
Students in University of Mindanao in Pres. Aquino III’s administration. The
percentage of the trust, perception, and knowledge of the respondents was
computed to be able to answer the research problem.
II. Research Subject
The subjects of this research study were the second year BSIT students
of University of Mindanao. The respondent represent 10% of the total five
hundred (500) second year BSIT student for the school year 2011-2011, first
semester.
7. III. Research Instrument
This research study is conducted through survey. The researcher made a
survey questioner which aims to gather data and evaluate the trust,
knowledge, and perception of second year BSIT students of the University of
Mindanao in Pres. Aquino III’s administration.
Aside from the survey, the researchers consulted various publications in
the library. The researchers had also gathered information through internet
and the Phil. Constitution.
IV. Statistical Treatment
Since this is only a term paper and not required for fulfillment of degree
such as theses and dissertation, needless to use complex statistical treatment.
In fact, tallying and getting the percentage is enough to present numerical
data.
