Roles and responsibilities:
 Preparing and adhering to the preventive maintenance schedule. This includes
planning for manpower requirement, equipment shutdown, and spare parts
requirement.
 Accountable to receive breakdown slip form concern department & attend the
problem.
 Attending all major breakdowns, identify root cause of breakdowns and take
corrective measures.
 Responsible for Assessment of spare parts needed for equipment, initiating
procurement action and getting them on shop floor.
 Basic monitoring day-to-day maintenance activity in process plant &
maintaining daily log book for the same.
 Responsible for preparing machine history register and energy conservation
data/ breakdown analysis

