11. Hospitality Leadership Bios Tom Goemaat - Chief Executive Officer Tom provides the leadership and vision required to maintain the continued growth and business success of the company. After joining Shawmut in 1993 as Executive Vice President, Tom used his extensive background in complex project management and his wealth of industry knowledge to help lead the company through a period of unprecedented growth. Prior to joining Shawmut, Tom spent 17 years at Turner Construction serving first as Chief Purchasing Agent for the Boston office and then as Division Manager of Turner’s Special Projects Division in Boston. William Hughes – President and Chief Operating Officer Bill has direct responsibility for the day-to-day operations by utilizing his unique combination of skills to manage the personnel development, financial practices and business group operations of the company to help further its overall business goals and objectives. In his role, he leads the Senior Management Team in promoting our unique culture and maintaining our strong financial performance and revenue growth. Prior to joining Shawmut, Bill served as the General Manager for Johnson Controls, New England Region, and in leadership positions at EnergyVision and General Electric Brian Stys – Vice President, Hospitality Brian manages and supports Shawmut’s Hospitality group’s construction activities nationwide. Throughout his 16 year tenure with Shawmut, Brian has cultivated relationships with prestigious clients including Nobu, The Cheesecake Factory, Morton’s of Chicago, Dave and Buster’s, Jeffrey Chodorow’s Ono, Hard Rock Café, Masa, Jeffrey Zakarian’s Country, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, and Tom Colicchio to name a few.
