Workforce 2020 is an analysis based on the future and
predictive model that will assist in increasing the latest trends
in the workforce providing more vital opportunities to many
people. Technical advancements and globalization are altering
the way in which organization is structured, and will be creating
a higher demand for low traditional and high working flexibility
adjustments. With the access of the interest and the
requirements of the employees will be surveyed for building
more safety, security and satisfactory environment (American
Airlines, 2012).
Describe the organization you have chosen. Please include the
name and a short description of the organization’s products or
services.
The organization that I have chosen is American
Airlines.American Airlines, Inc is a famous United States
airline. It works on a wide international and domestic U.S
network, with timed flights all over America, and the
Caribbean, Asia, and Europe. American Airlines is an airline
member of the One World airline alliance and thus coordinates
on the fares and services. American Airlines has got into a
partnership with various carriers from the year of its founding,
1930. (American Airlines, 2012).
How does the organization motivate its employees? Describe
any programs or methods they use to motivate workers. If the
organization does not have any employee motivational
strategies, suggest some strategies that you think will be
effective.
A key way in which American Airlines is likely to motivate
employees in order to achieve its goals for the Airlines
Grouplies with keeping track of its employee’s needs and their
engagement with their work. This can only be possible by
effective wage rate, which means the employees should get
sufficient salary that can maintain their healthy living with
justifies the hard work that is done by them for enabling the
company to attain the achievable and destined development or
goal. Thus, these American Airlines takes proper care of the
low employee engagement that includes salary, beneficiaries,
and workload. (Ahles, 2012).
Describe the current state of the organization’s workforce
dynamic. Is its workforce growing? Is it changing? How is it
changing and why?
The current state is considered to be highly valuable by
American Airlines Inc. Globalization has led the large
organizations to prosper competing the other organizations of
their industry. American Airlines Inc. requires those
professional managers and executives who can understand the
need for globalization in the company for leading the
competitive market. American Airlines Inc was capitalized the
future in the global market until they brought strategic
alteration. But American Airlines Inc. cannot be completed in
the next 50 years if it occupies 2% of the market in Airlines
services. (American Airlines, 2012).
Its workplace is growing as the expected behaviors for the team
performance and customer relationships are determined. It is
changing as the behaviors that are expected when a team
performs together for a particular task, firstly emphasizes the
ability to treat the other employees or co-workers with dignity.
Thus respecting the employees brings the employee’s feeling of
their stack in the industry. This increases the employee’s
workplace behavior and to serve the industry with the goal for
profit maximization and development of the organization. The
expectation of second behavior is supporting and promoting the
intra and interdepartmental teamwork. Intra departmental
teamwork means the friendly relationship between the American
Airlines whereas interdepartmental teamwork means the
Interpersonal relationships between the employees including the
managers and the workman.
What are some of the workforce trends that this organization
needs to address? What similar organizations can be used as a
benchmark?
Some of the workforce trends that this organization needs to
addressinclude the following:
· An effective employee training program actively seeks and
receives feedback for improvement in the process of employee’s
skills and in their company’s production. Lastly, sharing
knowledge and information consistently during the training
program, actively takes part in the teamwork behavior
expectations. This ensures a better understanding of the project
and clears out the views amongst the team members. Thus the
proper and effective employee training program between the
team members, upgrades the profit ratios of the industries.
(Andrea Ahles, 2012).
· A great performance makes its way towards increased
opportunities for growth. One gets success results that not only
orders respect but moreover it inspires the whole company
employee for continuously seeking options for more efficient
performance. By the effective employee training program, one
will narrow his focus for attaining the estimated goal and also
achieving those goals within particular time and cost
parameters. They must understand the potential of their
workforce and develop systems that enhance their skills and use
technology and process to their fullest. People coordinate and
act as a group to implement processes effectively and
implement the exact technology with its applications to get the
required results. So on a higher level all three are important but
the overall system plays an important role in deciding the exact
impact and implementation along with the use of all possible
resources to yield maximum output.
What are some of the industry trends that are affecting the
organization overall? Is the industry growing or declining?
Airlines services are developing continuously, as an important
managerial factor. American Airlines Inc. is a company that
profits from the development and selling of airlines services. It
should continue to lead the competition with their increasing
program. American Airlines in the financial stake provides
variety of qualitative measures that are utilized for the
evaluation of limitations in finance. The company’s knowledge
in the financial statements shares the qualities of relevance,
reliability, understanding ability and comparability. Materiality
and faithful representation are other financial factors.

Conclusion-:
American Airlines initially had strategic organizational goal
that is known to be a constant growth and different ideologies
of the organization. The initial theory attains the goals that have
induced strategic planning of the organization that plays a very
vital role in connecting the company’s mission and vision
statement, combined with the goal of the operational strategies
to frequently produce newly innovated and ideological services.

Both leadership and organizational strategy in the next decade
will see major trends affecting the way organizations conduct
business. These include the deployment of more technology to
extend reach and access, increased globalization, increased
diversity, more focus on extended supply chains, and a more
nomadic workforce. In this assignment, you will consider these
trends and analyze how they may impact your selected
organization and what actions are necessary to get ready to
address these trends.
You have been appointed by your organization (either a
hypothetical one or one you are familiar with) to prepare its
Workforce 2020 executive report.
The report should be as detailed as possible for the CEO of your
organization. That means it should include the key points of
your research, analysis, and findings. The report should also
contain examples of specific application to your company in a
clear, concise, and informative document.
In Module 4, you began your research on Workforce 2020. In
this module, you will expand on the work you did in Module 4.
Take Module 4’s paper, and incorporate the items below into
your work. Be sure to use the module readings, Argosy
University online library resources, and the Internet, including
federal guidelines. Select at least 3–4 scholarly resources for
use in this assignment.
Complete the following:
1) Analyze your organization in its present form. Explain your
organization’s structure, workforce diversity, market/customer
diversity, and communications technology.
2) Forecast future trends. Identify the economic, social,
demographic, and workforce parameters that are expected to be
in the U.S. in the year 2020. Explain how those trends will or
will not be reflected in your organization. Consider addressing
the following:
a) What are the general workforce trends?
b) How will these trends impact your industry?
c) What are the general trends in leadership/management that
are impacting your organization?
3) Synthesize data and recommend changes needed for the
future. Identify and recommend leader, organizational, and
workforce trends that must be considered for change in the
larger macro environment (for example, advances in technology
or globalization) in your organization. Identify related outcomes
for each specific topic:
a) What leadership actions should the organization take?
b) What competencies will be needed?
c) What does the organization need to do to be prepared?
To conduct a holistic assessment of your selected organization
and the challenges and opportunities it faces in addressing the
noted trends, consider some of the concepts listed below as you
develop your recommendations for the organization. It is not
necessary to include all the concepts, but you should include 2–
3 of them to do a thorough analysis.
For example, leadership models and diversity management are
likely to be pivotal areas for the organization. You could talk
about the environment trends that were noted in the beginning
of this assignment and then discuss how leadership practices
and approaches in your selected organization may have to
change to meet or address those trends.
4) Analyze how the following concepts apply to your
organization:

· Problem solving
· Conflict management processes
Ensure that your paper includes the following:
· An integrated report with an introduction and summary

Your final product will be in a Word document and be
approximately 12–15 pages in length and utilize 5–7 scholarly
sources in your research. Your paper should be written in a
clear, concise, and organized manner; demonstrate ethical
scholarship in accurate representation and attribution of
sources; and display accurate spelling, grammar, and
punctuation.

With the access of the interest and the requirements of the employees will be surveyed for building more safety, security and satisfactory environment (American Airlines, 2012). Describe the organization you have chosen. Please include the name and a short description of the organization’s products or services.
  • 2. The organization that I have chosen is American Airlines.American Airlines, Inc is a famous United States airline. It works on a wide international and domestic U.S network, with timed flights all over America, and the Caribbean, Asia, and Europe. American Airlines is an airline member of the One World airline alliance and thus coordinates on the fares and services. American Airlines has got into a partnership with various carriers from the year of its founding, 1930. (American Airlines, 2012). How does the organization motivate its employees? Describe any programs or methods they use to motivate workers. If the organization does not have any employee motivational strategies, suggest some strategies that you think will be effective. A key way in which American Airlines is likely to motivate employees in order to achieve its goals for the Airlines Grouplies with keeping track of its employee’s needs and their engagement with their work. This can only be possible by effective wage rate, which means the employees should get sufficient salary that can maintain their healthy living with justifies the hard work that is done by them for enabling the company to attain the achievable and destined development or goal. Thus, these American Airlines takes proper care of the low employee engagement that includes salary, beneficiaries, and workload. (Ahles, 2012). Describe the current state of the organization’s workforce dynamic. Is its workforce growing? Is it changing? How is it changing and why? The current state is considered to be highly valuable by American Airlines Inc. Globalization has led the large organizations to prosper competing the other organizations of their industry. American Airlines Inc. requires those professional managers and executives who can understand the need for globalization in the company for leading the competitive market. American Airlines Inc was capitalized the future in the global market until they brought strategic
  • 3. alteration. But American Airlines Inc. cannot be completed in the next 50 years if it occupies 2% of the market in Airlines services. (American Airlines, 2012). Its workplace is growing as the expected behaviors for the team performance and customer relationships are determined. It is changing as the behaviors that are expected when a team performs together for a particular task, firstly emphasizes the ability to treat the other employees or co-workers with dignity. Thus respecting the employees brings the employee’s feeling of their stack in the industry. This increases the employee’s workplace behavior and to serve the industry with the goal for profit maximization and development of the organization. The expectation of second behavior is supporting and promoting the intra and interdepartmental teamwork. Intra departmental teamwork means the friendly relationship between the American Airlines whereas interdepartmental teamwork means the Interpersonal relationships between the employees including the managers and the workman. What are some of the workforce trends that this organization needs to address? What similar organizations can be used as a benchmark? Some of the workforce trends that this organization needs to addressinclude the following: · An effective employee training program actively seeks and receives feedback for improvement in the process of employee’s skills and in their company’s production. Lastly, sharing knowledge and information consistently during the training program, actively takes part in the teamwork behavior expectations. This ensures a better understanding of the project and clears out the views amongst the team members. Thus the proper and effective employee training program between the team members, upgrades the profit ratios of the industries. (Andrea Ahles, 2012). · A great performance makes its way towards increased opportunities for growth. One gets success results that not only orders respect but moreover it inspires the whole company

By the effective employee training program, one will narrow his focus for attaining the estimated goal and also achieving those goals within particular time and cost parameters. They must understand the potential of their workforce and develop systems that enhance their skills and use technology and process to their fullest. People coordinate and act as a group to implement processes effectively and implement the exact technology with its applications to get the required results. So on a higher level all three are important but the overall system plays an important role in deciding the exact impact and implementation along with the use of all possible resources to yield maximum output. What are some of the industry trends that are affecting the organization overall? Is the industry growing or declining? Airlines services are developing continuously, as an important managerial factor. American Airlines Inc. is a company that profits from the development and selling of airlines services. It should continue to lead the competition with their increasing program. American Airlines in the financial stake provides variety of qualitative measures that are utilized for the evaluation of limitations in finance. The company’s knowledge in the financial statements shares the qualities of relevance, reliability, understanding ability and comparability. Materiality and faithful representation are other financial factors. (Bachman, 2013). Conclusion-: American Airlines initially had strategic organizational goal that is known to be a constant growth and different ideologies of the organization. The initial theory attains the goals that have induced strategic planning of the organization that plays a very vital role in connecting the company’s mission and vision statement, combined with the goal of the operational strategies to frequently produce newly innovated and ideological services.
