Cultural anthropology is the study of human cultures including their beliefs, practices, values, ideas, technologies, economies and other aspects of social and cognitive organization. This field relies primarily on cultural understanding obtained through direct experience and participant observation of living human populations. Culture refers to learned behaviors and meaning systems that are shared among members of a human society.
