SOCIAL CONCEPT
INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIP
An interpersonal relationship is a strong, deep, or close association or acquaintance
between two or more people that may range in duration from brief to enduring. This
association may be based on inference, love, solidarity, regular business interactions, or
some other type of social commitment. Interpersonal relationship are formed in the
context of social, cultural and other influences. The context can vary from family,
couples, or kinship relations, friendship, marriage, relations with associates, work, clubs,
neighborhoods, and places of worship. They may be regulated by law, custom, or mutual
agreement, and are the basis of social groups and society as a whole.
THE DESIGN OF THE CAFE
The main reason we design this cafe is for people to enjoy and relax. This is an indoor
and outdoor cafe. The main reason that there are a lot of plants surrounding the cafe is to
provide shades and also green scenery. The main priority is to make comfortability of the
customers comes first and also to have a more convenient place to hang out referring to
the placing and position of the furniture.

SUNLIGHT DIRECTIONS
Based on the site analysis of sunlight direction of the cafe, we put the kitchen in the west
side of the cafe, this is due to sunlight at the west side is the hottest one because of sunset.
The main purpose we put the kitchen there is we doesn’t want the sunlight to affect the
customers.
This is the sunlight from the north side which is approximately 11am to 1pm. The sun is
the brightest in this time. People will choose to sit at the cold area instead of sit at the hot
area. People will sit at the south to west side of the cafe to have their lunch or tea.
When the sunlight is from the west side, the east side of the cafe will be the cold area.
People will choose to sit at the east side to relax and enjoy the scenery of sunset.

LAYOUT OF THE CAFE
PLAN VIEW
This is the plan view of the cafe, it shows that interpersonal relationship is a strong, deep
or close association between two or more people. That’s mean it can beings everyone
together. The purpose we design this cafe is to bring everyone together in a place.
Businessman can have their meeting here, family can have their family day here, couple
can date here or celebrate their dates, teenager and youngster can relax here and also
people can drink in front of the bar and relax.

PERSPECTIVE DRAWINGS
This is the overall perspective view look from the south-
west side. It shows that the cafe have a good environment
to relax.
This is the kitchen view. The workers have a
good environment to work and they can have
good attitude & have the motivation to go to
work.
This is the outdoor perspective view. Some of those
people sit in the office for a long time, they can choose to
sit here and enjoy the scenery.
This is the entrance perspective view. Every
customers have to go in the cafe by this entrance.

This is the back view of the cafe. The outer
part of the cafe is covered by glass. The
purpose we design the glass have a small gap
between one another is to let the sunlight to
go into the cafe. Customers can have a good
morning feel in the cafe.
This is the side view of the cafe. As we can
see that the side elevation view is slightly
slanted. This building is a high ceiling
buildings. High ceiling can makes the cafe
looks more wider and also sunlight pass
through the cafe makes people feel fresh.
This is the front view of the cafe. Trees are
surrounding, it has a green scenery for
outdoor customers. People can go in to this
cafe by using this entrance.
