Script directions
I. Introduction: (This must start with the sentence, “Welcome to Warrior Run
Middle School reviews.” Include your name and grade. Be creative. Start with
music and have music fade before you speak.
II. Book Information: (Communicate the title, author, genre and anything else
interesting about the book in a creative way.)
III. Short Summary: (Write a concise paragraph that focuses on the major
events, including the main conflict facing the main character(s). Don’t give
away the ending!
IV. Favorite Part: (Briefly summarize your favorite part of the book and explain
why you like it.)
V. Critique: (Evaluate the book. Give a recommendation to your peers by telling
what you like or do not like about the book.
VI. Rating: (Rate your book on a 5 star scale where 5 stars is the highest.)
VII. Closing: (Thank everyone for listening and sign off with a tag line like “keep
reading.”) Fade into music.
