• To be able to distinguish between the three types of inquiry
questions in MYP

1. Read and annotate pages 18 – 22 of the Language and
Literature Guide
2. List two key points under each of the following sub-headings:
a. Conceptual Understanding
b. Key Concepts
c. Related Concepts
d. Statement of Inquiry
e. Inquiry Questions
*Express your points in your own words.
ACTIVITY 1b: SHARING AND GROUP WORK
STEPS
• In your groups prepare a presentation to share your three
most important points on the item from Activity 1a that
has been allotted to you.
• You may research for more information from other
sources on the internet.
• The leader of the group should upload your slides to
message thread on Managebac.
REFLECTION
•In learning journal, write down:
a. an exciting fact you have discovered from this
lesson.
b. A discovery or fact that makes you anxious
or what you consider will be your challenge
in this course
