Christenson Advisory Services Strengthens Executive Search Leadership
OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill., Aug. 17, 2015 – Christenson Advisory Services (CA), a full-service
consultancy providing executive search, compensation, financial advisory and management
consulting services to the global real estate industry, strengthened its healthcare and senior
housing expertise with the addition of Amy Bauer as leader of the firm’s East Coast executive
search practice.
Bauer has more than 20 years of industry experience. She joins CA as a principal from Capital
Funding Group, where she was a senior vice president for the provider of financing, investing
and advisory solutions to the health care and multifamily industries.

During her five years at Capital Funding, Bauer leveraged her investor relations background to
expand Capital Funding’s health care lending business and successfully close more than $400
million in loans. She also oversaw the company’s marketing and corporate philanthropy
functions. Prior to joining Capital Funding, Bauer spent 14 years at Erickson Living, a national
developer and manager of retirement communities, in a number of positions with increasing
responsibility, including the last seven as director of Investor Relations.
Bauer holds a bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and a master’s degree from
the School of Public Affairs (now Public Policy) at the University of Maryland, College Park.
