2. INTRADUCTION
E-learning is the unifying term to describe the fields
of online learning, web-based training, and technology-
delivered instruction.
Although we have strong opinions about where
eLearning is likely to go and how quickly it may or
may not get there, this page is dedicated to linking
you to the myriad of e-learning resources in the e-
world.
3. Practical implications
–The outcomes of this research will be helpful
in developing countries for educational
thinkers to better comprehend effects of e-
learning on students' motivation.
4. what is e-;learning?
HUnderstanding eLearning is simple. eLearning is learning utilizing electronic
technologies to access educational curriculum outside of a traditional
classroom. In most cases, it refers to a course, program or degree
delivered completely online.
There are many terms used to describe learning that is delivered online,
via the internet, ranging from Distance Education, to computerized
electronic learning, online learning, internet learning and many others. We
define eLearning as courses that are specifically delivered via the internet
to somewhere other than the classroom where the professor is teaching.
It is not a course delivered via a DVD or CD-ROM, video tape or over a
television channel. It is interactive in that you can also communicate with
your teachers, professors or other students in your class. Sometimes it
is delivered live, where you can “electronically” raise your hand and
interact in real time and sometimes it is a lecture that has been
prerecorded. There is always a teacher or professor interacting
/communicating with you and grading your participation, your assignments
and your tests. eLearning has been proven to be a successful method of
training and education is becoming a way of life for many citizens in North
Carolina.
5. Effects of e-learning
E-learning has a significant role in
instruction of students in higher
education, so the objective of this study
is investigating the strength of the
relationship between e-learning and
students’ motivation among students
participating in the research.
6. IMPACT
A proposal and evaluation of enhanced e-
learning model to increase the academic
performance of university students.
7. Advantages
advantage of elearning is that it has quicker
delivery cycle times than traditional
classroom-based instruction.E-learning cuts
down on the training time required because:
it does not take as long to start and wrap
up a learning session.
8. Disadvantages
* No self-discipline
* No face- Lack of
flexibility
*Lack of input from
trainers.to-face
interaction
*Slow evolution
*Good e-learning is
difficult to do
* Lack of
transformational power
