This document defines different camera shot types including close-up, extreme close-up, medium shot, long shot, high angle, low angle, point of view, and eye level shots. Close-up and extreme close-up shots show facial expressions and details, medium shots show body language from the waist up, and long shots establish body language and the full setting. High angles make characters look weak while low angles make them look powerful. Point of view and eye level shots help the audience understand the scene from a character's perspective or their own eye level.

1. Close up shot: (Shoulders and face) Used to show
expression on characters face. Detailed view of a person
or object.
Extreme Close-Up: A very detailed view of an object or a
person. An extreme close-up of an actor generally
includes only his eyes, or his mouth.
Medium Shot – waist and above shows feelings through
body language and setting
Long shot – to see full body to establish body language
and what is going on behind in the setting.
High Angle – from an angle above, it makes characters
look weak.
Low Angle – from a low angle below, makes characters
look powerful or superior.
Point of View- the character sees what a certain
character sees and can see all background setting, what is
going on, it helps the audience to understand and feel
the atmosphere more.
Eye Level- looking at everything from an eye level, as if
you are in that actual scene looking, it helps you to feel as
if you are actually there.
