2. IT Support Technician - Wantage, Oxfordshire. Working for a leading IT organisation, the IT
Technician will be responsible for looking after all the organisations internal IT networks. Experience
with Windows Desktop systems is also essential.
Working for an Oxfordshire based IT Supplier, the IT Technician will play a key role in the day to day
working of the business and will find themselves supporting the day to day IT Infrastructure as well
as being involved in projects relating to the internal IT infrastructure.
This role will suit a candidate who is looking for an IT Role that will allow them to get to grips with a
broad range of IT technologies. Working with a number of IT specialists, you'll be responsible for the
day to day smooth operation of the office and will be involved with the maintenance of IT Desktop
systems and basic networking as well as providing assistance with Microsoft Applications.
As IT Support Technician, you'll have experience of the following:
* Desktop Support
* Basic IT Networking - Cisco exposure would be advantageous
* Windows XP and 7 operating systems
* Printer and Hardware
* Basic Exchange and Active Directory
Any relevant certification would also be a distinct advantage, such as MCP, MCSE, MCITP, MCSA,
CCNA, etc.
