Formulating a design challenge 
I want 
(mostly) women who already enjoy use of body care products to have an 
improved experience of using these types of products as part of a morning ritual 
TO 
improve their sensory and health experience of using these types of products 
Because 
These products are used to help create a good emotional and physical sense of 
well-being in the morning using aroma & physical rejuvenation (after sleep) to 
create this effect
Preliminary requirements 
-Must use natural ingredients 
-Must have an appealing fragrance 
-Is probably a cleanser, moisturiser product, but could be shampoo or other 
morning use products 
-Must have a sense of high quality without being too expensive 
-Must have good environmental credentials 
-Must be associated with the source of the raw ingredients 
-Must be readily available 
-Must not contain harsh chemicals 
-Ingredients must be fully disclosed 
-Must come in a variety of types (e.g. fragrances) 
-Must have an appealing brand image 
-Must have a good texture and sensory appeal 
-Must be directly related to ‘mood’ (e.g. aromatherapy)
