Author’s Theme: If you want/need something or to do
something than don’t give up until you succeed.
Foreshadowing: The scientist person following the boys while
they were trick or treating.
Resolution: That alarm faded into his moms voice calling his
name because he had to get up for school he then woke up
startled but thankful it was just a dream but as he stretched his
hands above his head the big bulky and uncomfortable bracelet
falls off his wrist
The boy went back to that window and this time he broke it and
jumped through then the bracelet sounded an alarm
He woke up the next time with a big bulky uncomfortable
bracelet on
He found a room that had a single window in it he tried to break
it open then he got put back to sleep
The second time the boy woke up he found the scientists main
office he then got put back to sleep again
Climax: The narrator wakes up in a lab and he is sneaking
around trying to find a way out he hears people walking down
the hallway talking and he goes to run and hide and he
accidentally makes a noise the scientists then find him and put
him back to sleep just for him to wake up in the spot he woke
up last time
The narrator starts to feel sleepy and then he passes out
The narrator gets home runs to his room and his mom says don’t
eat all of that tonight he then proceeds to eat bunches of it and
then he ate the piece he got from the scientist
They get their candy and head back separate ways to their own
houses eerily
They then visit a new house and the person dressed as a
scientist is handing out the candy they all jump and its all
creepy
The boys started to get worried from that person then they
disappear, and the boys are relieved
Its Sunday and narrator is trick or treating with his friends
Narrator at school talking abt Halloween that coming Sunday
with friends
Narrator goes with friends to get costume
Person dressed as a scientist starts following them they don’t
think much of it
Exposition

Setting – Place: Mainly the big science lab
