ANNA
A child who was pronounced dead to her parents at birth is being kept in captivity by the experimental doctor. She escapes one day and
only one of them can live – turns into a game of cat and mouse.

Doctor takes home baby and keeps her in the cellar/room

Doctor comes home to find blood marks on the walls and floor, finds body of the sitter in a hole in the garden
Can hear noises in the house from outside – knows that the child has escaped
Goes inside and prepares an injection and carries a knife for safety
Turns into a game of cat and mouse between them, the doctor locks himself in his room – child ends up finding him and he
struggles to see her in the pitch black
She speaks, then they both struggle to be released from each other’s grip – child takes injection and injects the doctor, she then
stabs him multiple times and the cat
She calls the police who take her away and she releases the mouse
SYPNOSIS
Doctor is telling a couple that their baby has died after birth, we see an image of the doctor carrying the baby away but it is alive. He keeps
the baby for experiments and keeps it as his own child. The little girl is brought up by the doctor, but she has become deranged from all
the experiments. The doctor generally interacts with the child, who has a secret pet mouse for company – likewise the doctor has a cat.
The doctor goes away on a conference for a couple of days and arranges for a house sitter to look after the house and child – he does not
tell the sitter that the little girl is deranged, but he does tell her not to let the child out. The sitter lets the girl out of her bedroom because
she thinks that is unfair, not knowing what she will do, the child runs downstairs towards to kitchen asking to play, sitter follows her
willingly and is stabbed by little girl. She digs a hole in the garden and drags the sitter into it leaving her half buried. Doctor returns home
to see blood marks on the kitchen floor, he rushes out towards the garden where he finds the sitter’s body – he buries it properly and can
hear noises coming from inside the house. He makes his way back to the kitchen where he prepares an injection for the little girl; he also
grabs a knife for protection. The little girl is nowhere to be seen but he can hear her singing nursery rhymes. Hours later it is dark and the
doctor eventually makes his way to his room and locks himself in there. He turns on all the lights so that he can see all around him; he tries
to get some sleep, but can still hear the child’s voice. Suddenly the lights flicker around him and then there’s a total blackout. We hear
deep breathing from the doctor and he tightly holds the injection and knife in both hands. The girl then says, “You didn’t find me
daddy...but I found you”, she then starts to attack the doctor with the knife and he struggles to restrain her. We hear shouting from the
doctor and constant stab noises, where the child is attacking him. The doctor lays on the floor dead and then suddenly the mouse comes
scurrying in with the cat chasing it. The little girl grabs the mouse and then stabs the cat. Both dead bodies lay next to each other and the
little girl then runs to the telephone and calls for the police. We then see an image of the little girl with a suitcase outside the house, she
picks the mouse from her pocket and lets it go, and she is then escorted into a police car where she will be put into care.
CHARACTER SUMMARIES
ANNA (child)
Was taken at birth from her parents by a doctor who has used her for experiments and has kept her captive in his house. She has had
some interaction with the doctor, but her main companion is a mouse. She is 13/14 years of age now, but because of all the untested
drugs, she has become deranged and more animalistic.
DOCTOR O’RILEY (‘dad’)
A respectable man in his 40’s, who has gained everybody’s trust over the years. He has wanted to try out some new drugs, but without
any consent from the government and he also needed a live being to test them, so he decided to fake a baby’s death so that he could have
the child for himself. No one knows of his despicable and disgusting behaviour, yet no one would suspect that a great doctor like him
would do something like this.
HOUSE SITTER
A young girl in her 20’s who polite, smiley is and happy, yet she is unaware of the deranged characteristics of the child. She is
unfortunately murdered by the little girl after letting her out of her bedroom when told not too by the doctor.
POLICEMAN
A strict yet happy man in his 30’s, who thinks that this is just an ordinary murder, but is shocked to find that it is one of the greatest
doctor’s in the country.
