1. Letter of Recommendation
It is with greatpleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Jamie Rose. I
spenttwo years leading Mrs.Rose while stationed in Okinawa,Japan. During this time I
served as the Staff Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge and the EngineerChief. We filled
a maintenance and logistics role maintaining heavy equipmentsuch as Tram’s and Dozers,
in addition to, small and large generators.
Mrs. Rose facilitated service requests,placed parts on order,maintained record
keeping,reporting weekly, monthly and quarterly numbers and also voluntarily completed
maintenance when manpowerwas low.
During this time I was herdirect supervisorand mentor. She quickly became the
subjectmatter expertin her field dealing with complicated heavy equipmentlogistics and
troublesome computersoftware. Her expertise in these areas enabled the workplace to
operate smoothly. Due to her knowledge she became the go to individual in her job.We
could call on her with very short notice and she neverfailed to respond in a timely manner
with a positive attitude.
I was able to rely on her resourcefulness fornumerous things to ensure we never
missed a deadline or failed to complete a task. If we didn’t have the parts, she found a way
to get the parts. If we couldn’tfill an order, she found a way to fill the order. Initiative was a
trait she did not lack and it made hera huge assetto our team.
Her communication was well above average.I was informed of all situations that
occurred orthat could potentially occuras soon as possible and without hesitation. She had
established enough trustthat I could rely on herword as valid and true every single day.
She made my job much easierby handling given tasks, taking initiative to start newtasks,
and following up to ensure nothing was missed.I remembera time that all of ourvehicles
were down and she stayed up all night in order to get one vehicle operational. She is just
that type of individual.
She has a passion for doing thing’s the correctway, the first time. I feel that’s a trait
that many people have lostor just simply never acquired.In this case you’ll have no trouble
worrying aboutreceiving mediocre work. Jamie’s passion for doing things correctly
constantly produced greatresults for which she was awarded on numerous occasions.
